Big city coffee tastes with a small town feel. Walking in you’re welcomed by a family team. Everyone is super sweet, EVERYTHING IS MADE TO ORDER! do not give these amazing people flack about time taken when they’re clearly hand making everything. Our food was delicious(tuna melt/garlic herb chicken), coffee was not too sweet, not too bitter, really nice variety of drinks as well! The pastries are delicious just wish they came in different containers for chef mic at home :) keep up the great work!

Trying out a new café and let me tell you this is what I needed for my morning. Had a golden latte and got to "build my own potion" with a lotus energy drink with white skinny energy and frosted mint, and eating a teriyaki chicken sandwich with their homemade dragon sauce which is a delicious sweet and spicy sauce with real grilled chicken and lettuce on a croissant. The staff is super awesome too. They make life nice and simple. They definitely do a great job explaining their menu too and how they are different from other cafés, very welcoming and delicious

This is the best coffee shop in the area. The coffee is amazing, the pastries/food is all homemade and super yummy and I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff. You walk in and they make you feel like family always. The BEST!

I tried the seasonal match (I think lavender berry) and it was AMAZING. The cheesecake was for my dad but I had a bite and it was really yummy. Not over powering sweet, which is perfect

Ordered drinks a few minutes ahead for my office (4 total), and everything was ready when I arrived. I’ve been to a TON of coffee spots across VB and Norfolk, and nothing has even come close to the quality and value here. Our drinks were genuinely outstanding—strong, smooth, and perfectly balanced espresso with great flavor in every drink. No shortcuts, no watered-down coffee, just consistently really good drinks across the board. For an amazing price too!!!! The service was just as impressive. The two women who helped me were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I can absolutely see why this place is ranked so highly—i will definitely be returning!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Always Latte is a fantastic local coffee shop! The coffee is great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable. I especially love how dog-friendly they are—my pup is always welcomed with a smile. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy a great drink, and support a wonderful local business. Highly recommend! ☕🐾😊

Love love love this place! My husband and I go here at least once a week when we have time! The staff are ever so lovely and greets you with the biggest smile. Also the matcha special and the cheesecake is a must! Trust me when I say every bite of the cheesecake is so scrumptious.

Incredible people doing incredible things. I’ve truly never seen a small business with such direct action in assistance to the community. They can do anything custom, I ordered a black tea with rose syrup + honey, the woman at the register assured me they can do anything! And BY GOD they definitely can… On the first try they somehow made it better than I did at home everyday!! They are SO friendly, so welcoming, the space is super cozy, and I will definitely be coming back. Amazing. I’m lost for words.

It was my first time stopping in and I will definitely be coming back. I ordered a sweethearts cold brew from their seasonal menu and picked up a pastry. With tip I spent roughly $15, but to me that feels comparable/expected price range for a smaller local coffee shop. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in explaining menu items. While I just stopped in on a solo trip today, I will definitely be coming back with friends. They let me know that it’s children and dog friendly, with a fenced in outside area included. Free WiFi and lots of sitting room for any remote work needs. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and they made it feel like stopping in at an old friends for coffee and a chat! Can’t wait for my next visit

I am currently eating the best Cheese Danish I’ve ever eaten in my Life ! The Vanilla Latte isn’t bad either, it’s actually Very good. I’d pass on the other coffee shops…I accidentally found Always Latte Cafe while driving around Norfolk looking at homes for sale. I would stop in everyday if I could, unfortunately I don’t live close enough to come everyday😫 but It’s worth the drive at least a couple times a week!
